u12s GOLD team 2024
ABOUT the gold team.
The WA Māori U12s Gold Team are the first sporting team we have sponsored.
They consisted of 19 Tama (Boy) and 1 Kotiro (girl).
These bunch of amazing talented kids trailed, they had to be of Māori decent, learn the WA Haka and learn their Pepeha (their heritage, where their ancestors are from) to make the team in March 2024 and trained their butts off till they travelled to Rotorua New Zealand in September.
They played up against some bigger talented Tamariki (kids) but did not back down. They won 2, Lost 2 and Drew 1, that’s pretty impressive considering none of them had played in NZ before.
We are super proud of all these kids; they gave all they had and left it on the fields.
Big thanks to the committee, the parents and the coaching staff for all the support they showed these kids, it wouldn’t have happened without any of you. Well done from Bulk Gym Chalk.
Also, to all the sponsors that made their trip funded, if you didn’t jump on board like us they wouldn’t have been able to fund the trip and make it over.

Love watching this kid, the only Kotiro in the team, but she has the strength, courage and stamina to give anything ago.
She is one to look up to and to look out for in the future!
But there is no I in team, she and her teammates all put in a sensational effort and did WA proud! See below her Youtube channel along with her team mate Davey Fuikefu.
